About

This Flood Risk Management Workflow aims to aims to support practitioners with a methodology for identifying hazard, quantifying risk and mitigating impact of floods in humanitarian settlements. The workflow proposes several tools including a Compendium of Flood Risk Mitigation Measures, a Risk Mitigation Strategy GIS Tool and a Local Data Collection Guide.

The project has been jointly developed by the research group Spatial Development and Urban Policy (SPUR) at ETH, the UN Agency for refugees (UNHCR) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) through the Geneva Technical Hub (GTH).
